Editing Update- 25th Jan 2018

Here is perhaps one of my final production updates- establishes that I have finished editing my coursework, and states what work I have to do on my other sections of coursework. This helps keep those viewing my blog up to date on my editing, and the fact I've got my film uploaded.

Bewilderment Junction Final Cut

This is the final cut of my media project. I decided, under recommendation of my teacher, to upload 2 different versions. I added music throughout in order to link more to the source material, and added footsteps in order to link it more. I am reasonably happy with the material, I do like how it sounds now, and it fits the way I wanted it to be when I first made it.

Ancillary Task Draft

These are my first drafts for my Ancillary Task. These give a basic idea as for how my tasks will look, however I do wish to change a lot. The pictures are those that I intend to use, as they serve my purpose well, and fit the trend that I analysed previously.

Newspaper Advertisment Research

For my second Ancillary task, I am choosing to focus on Newspaper Advertisments, however it is here that I have seen that the channel is a sticking point- All of these examples are from Channel 4, and I chose BBC 4. I do know that I can easily make it somewhat more subtle, however it's something to bear in mind. I mentioned I will choose to base it on the 2 later examples, as I believe they can provide a good mixture of eye catching and a subtle manner. I will focus on the guardian as my newspaper of choice however, as my target audience would focus there. Something notable is that I had to make 2 different versions, done through screenshotting as it wouldn't show on some computers. As Such, I probably will not use emaze again,.

DPS Research

For one of my Ancillary tasks, I chose to focus on Double Page spreads. I found that despite the fact that a lot of Double Page Spreads look similar from a distance, there is often a wide difference between examples. However, they do all features certain features, something which I wish to ensure my example is no exception. I found there are different ways of showing the magazine brand, something which I am to keep subtle in my example. However, I stated the tropes, and those which I wanted to follow, within the Prezi.

Production Diary- 04/01/18

I created another addition to my Production Diary, in which I established the situation I am at right now with my editing- I have a long way to go, and plenty to get on with, however I have done what I can out of what I've been recommended to do, and this entry shows exactly where I am with my editing.
